With the NA LCS Summer Split kicking off today, the broadcast team has made plenty of changes to the show to make our viewing experience more intriguing and pleasurable. From an updated analyst desk, to a new interview couch for post-game interviews, and even new pregame material, the Riot production team really upped the ante for this year’s Summer Split.
However, the slightest, yet biggest change to the broadcast comes between games, as the 3:30 commercial break has been graced by a slight update to the NA LCS official logo.
The logo has turned from its usual blue to a brand new rainbow configuration in celebration of Pride Month. The new-look logo also appears during Champion select, directly in the middle of your screen.
This change comes after Riot’s traditional Twitch.tv icon was changed from a standard red and black fist to a rainbow fist in celebration of Pride Month.
One would have to assume that the new NA LCS and Riot logos will have to stick around throughout the duration of Pride Month, as Riot shows once again why they’re one of the most LGBTQ-friendly gaming companies in the world.
